GLHEPRO

GLHEPRO is used for designing ground loop heat exchangers for use with ground source heat pump systems. It is sold by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association.

Load Calculation Software

Periodic Response Factor Generator
This CTF/PRF Generator calculates conduction transfer functions and periodic response factors required by ASHRAE’s heat balance and radiant time series load calculation methods. This program is suitable for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP systems. Download the file (14.5Mb) and unzip the contents to a temporary folder. Run the Setup.exe program and follow the instructions to install. Questions about the program should be addressed to Calvin Iu.

Psychrometric Software

Psychrometric Calculator (SI Units)
The Psychrometric Calculator is used to compute the thermodynamic properties of moist air. These properties are used by mechanical engineers to design Heating Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and processes. The program is based on the procedure outlined in the 1997 ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook.
For systems running Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, it is available with and without the JAVA Virtual Machine, if you have the JVM installed download psychro.exe(2,191KB). If you don’t have the JVM installed, download psychro.exe(8,126KB).
Systems running UNIX/Linux platforms, download psychro.jar(1,957KB) and type java -jar psychro.jarto run the application. Questions about the program should be addressed to Muhammad Haider Khan.

Software Updates

To update the visual modeling tool; In the folder where it was installed, replace the "VisualTool.exe" with this newer "VisualTool.exe".
