Description: This project was the first joint CIBSE-ASHRAE research project. The objective
was to study the differences between current UK and US cooling load calculation
methods. This was done by making a parametric inter-model comparison of peak
load predictions. Over 7000 calculations were made using a variety of building
zones with various loadings and with 10 sets of weather data. (Project duration
10/96-6/97).
